Everyone asks us daily, why are junk car prices going down?  Why is scrap down?  The answer is pretty simple really.  The price of steel is down, so the price of scrap metal is down.  When the price of steel goes up, the price of junk cars will go up too.

What is a Salvage Yard?

A salvage yard can actually be many things, but here at Indianapolis Junk Cars, a salvage yard is where we keep our junk cars.  We pay cash for junk cars, then we bring them in and sell the salvageable parts off of the junk cars, then we remove the cores (starters, alternators, radiators, aluminum wheels, batteries, catalytic converters, etc.).  Then the junk cars head off to the crusher and get shredded for the scrap metal.  It really is that simple.  What do you have to do?  All you have to do is call us and we will come pay you cash for your junk car and tow it away for free.  (317) 893-9008.
